How to Join Indian Air Force as Agniveer under Agnipath Scheme 202

Recently, after a long time on 14th June 2022, a new scheme called Agnipath Scheme has been announced by the Ministry of Defence for the entry-level recruitment process in the Indian Air Force and in other Armed Forces. As a result, mixed reactions were seen across the country.

Some people are trying to justify the Agneepath scheme, while on the other hand others are opposing the scheme. In order to pacify the youth amid arson and sabotage across the country, the Indian Air Force has announced its first recruitment drive under the Agneepath scheme through its official Twitter account.

Documents Required to Join Indian Air Force as Agniveers (Agnipath Vayu)

• Class 10th or Matriculation Passing Certificates.
• Class 12th or Intermediate or Equivalent Marksheet.
  • or, 3 Years Engineering Diploma Marksheet and Matriculation Marksheet.
  • or, 2 Years Vocational Course Marksheet and marks sheet of non-vocational course with Maths, Physics, and English.
• Passport size Latest Photo with holding a black slate with his name and the date of photograph taken.
  • The written details on the slate must be written in the capital letter clearly with White Chalk.
  • The background must be a light color.
  • No headgear is allowed except for Sikh.
  • The photo should not be taken before April 2022.
  • Size of Passport Size Photo Should be 10 KB to 50 KB.
• Candidate Left-Hand Thumb Impression.
  • The size of the Left Thumb Impression should be 10 KB to 50 KB.
• Candidate Signature.
  • The size of the Signature should be 10 KB to 50 KB.
• In case your age is below 18, you need to upload your Parent’s (Father or Mother) / Guardian signature image within 10 KB to 50 KB.
• The mark sheet indicates your English Subject.
• Aadhar Card number during the online application form is required. Exemption for the candidates belongs to J&K, Assam, or Meghalaya.

Examination Fee

The examination or application fee for the Indian Air Force AgniveerVayu under Angipath Scheme is ₹ 250/- and it is to be paid by the candidate applying for the online examination.

The payment for the same can be done by Debit Card/Credit Card/Net Banking through the online payment gateway. The candidate can also pay the application fee by offline mode using Challan Method at any Axis Bank Branch.

How to Apply or Join IAF AgniverVayu under Agnipath Scheme

The Indian Air Force has recently announced its Online Application for the recruitment of AgniveerVayu under the Agnipath Scheme. To apply for this Agnipath Scheme the candidate needs to follow this step-by-step guide to easily apply for the post.

Step 1

First, go through the official detailed notification released by the Indian Air Force before applying for the post.

Step 2

Scan all the required documents under the required sizes before applying for the post.

Open Indian Air Force Oficial Career Page by visiting this link on your browser: careerindianairforce.cdac.in

Step 4

On the official Career page of IAF, you will see two options under Join As tab, Click on AgniveerVayu.

Step 5

After that, a new browser tab will open in front of you now Click on Apply Online. Now another page will open in front of you. If you are already registered on this page earlier then Sign In by providing the required details. Otherwise for a new user just clicks on Register to register yourself first.

Step 6

Enter your personal details like your name, father’s name, email id, and mobile number, and then generate your OTP. Now enter the OTP received on your mobile number and on your email separately. After entering the verification code click on SUBMIT.

Step 7

After submission, check your email id for System Generated Password. Now use your email id as your user id and the password to login into the IAF dashboard. Since the password which you have entered is system generated. So, reset your password by creating a unique password as suggested by the system.

Step 8

Sign In again with your recently generated password. Then click on Read Instructions and then Click on Check Box and then click on Continue to Registration Steps.

Step 9

Now fill the required details, upload your documents and then pay the examination fee.

Eligibility Criteria to Join IAF as AgniveerVayu

To join the Indian Air Force under the Agnipath Scheme as an AgniveerVayu the following Eligibility criteria are set by the Indian Air Force.

• Unmarried Male Indian Citizens are eligible for this post.
• Citizens of Nepal are also eligible.

Age Limit for Agnipath Agniveer Vayu

For the vacancy of Agniveer Vayu intake 01/2022. The candidate born between 29th December 1999 and 29th June 2005 with both dates inclusive is eligible to apply for the post.

Education Qualification for Agnipath Agniveer Vayu

A. Science Subject

B. Other than Science Subject

Important Points:

• Candidates eligible for Science subject on the basis of 10+2 or intermediate are also eligible for Other Than Science Subject Examination.
• Education Board listed on the COBSE website as a member will only get considered.
• If your aggregate final percentage is 49.99% then it will be considered as 49% no to rounded off to 50%.
